Keep your smile safe

During these summer months when your children are off from school, make sure they stay protected.  Children should wear protective gear while playing contact sports which includes the use of a mouthguard.  These oral appliances help to protect your children's teeth and minimize the opportunity for more severe face and head trauma.  There are two different kinds of mouthguards available: both custom made dental guards,  fabricated in our dental office and a stock mouthguard available at your local sporting good store. Be sure they fit adequately and comforatably to be sure your child will be compliant and use them as directed.
